Hi, I’m Mark—a Senior Visual Designer and the founder of Praeambula Studio; my freelance business and portfolio.

My work is centered on turning ideas, information, and strategy into visual communication that is clear, compelling, and thoughtfully crafted. I’ve worked across brand identity, proposals, presentations, publications, environmental graphics, marketing campaigns, and digital design, helping organizations communicate complex ideas with greater clarity and impact.

The name Praeambula comes from the Latin prae (“before”) and ambulare (“to walk”)—the steps that come before. For me, it reflects the thought and intention behind good creative work: understanding the problem, considering the audience, and making choices before anything reaches the page.

Outside of design, I’m a husband, father, photographer, musician, and lifelong student of visual culture. I care deeply about doing work with purpose, collaborating well with others, and creating things that are built to last.
